This term, we have been doing some fantastic things in Year 6.  Three children, Mhela, Amml and Ellie, represented the school at the NW24 Schools inaugural Bake-Off placing 2nd!  Of course, we all had a practise run in class too, baking a superb array of very tasty biscuits.
Four our topic, we have been studying Adaptation, Evolution and Inheritance.  To help understand how our world and the animals in it have evolved to what we are today, we took a trip up to the Bristol Museum to visit Doris the Pliosaurs.  The children loved learning about the world 150 million years ago and meeting Doris.  It has been fantastic to see what links they have made between Doris, Mary Anning and Charles Darwin.
