This term in Year 3 has been a busy one as usual! We have learned about shapes and measurement in Maths and have enjoyed reading the Stone Age Boy in English. We have immersed ourselves in our history topic of the Stone Age and have produced some beautiful information booklets with drawings and writing about the Stone Age, the Bronze Age and the Iron Age! We thoroughly enjoyed our trip to Cheddar where we met a ‘Stone Age man’ who talked about food, daily life and most importantly for some of the children, the tools that he could make from flint! The children even experienced dressing up in animal skins and seeing a Stone Age dwelling not to mention exploring the magnificent stalactite caves. It has been brilliant to see the children working together, taking responsibility for their learning and trying their very best this term.
